The reigning champions improved to 3-1 on the season, defeating Herts handily, 22-2 and 22-3, in two games shortened by the mercy rule.
Jordan Edmonds led the Mets offensively with two home runs and eight RBIs on the day.
In game 1, Brian Lainoff (3 IP, 1 H, 0 R) and Tommy Flaherty (2 IP, 2 H, 2 R) shut down the Falcons over five innings. The London Mets 18 hit barrage was led by Jordan Edmonds who belted a solo home run in the 3rd inning (3-4, 3 RBIS) and Rory Chandler (3-4, 2 RBIs). Drake Yoshioka, Zack Stroman, Brendan Power, Jamie Dix, and Dylan Baxter each contributed two hits. Newcomer, Michael Banagale, delivered his first NBL hit and RBI.
In game 2, Jordan Edmonds (1-2, 5 RBIs, 2 BBs) went deep again with a grand-slam in the 5th inning. Jamie Dix (1-1, 4 RBIs, 1 BB) also belted his first homer of the season, with a three-run mash in the 2nd inning. Zack Stroman (3-4, 2 RBIs, 1 BB) had a three hit performance. London Mets pitching held the Falcons to 3 runs on 1 hit. Tommy Flaherty delivered his first ever NBL hit to add to the Mets offense. Mario Escobedo took the win (3 IP, 3 R) with quick relief outings from Sam Sproule (1 IP, 1H) and Drake Yoshioka (1 IP, 0 H).
