Sproule 6-for-6 as Mets Sweep Lancashire

Led by Brendan Power's 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and Sam Sproule's 3-for-3 game 1, the Mets marched to their 19th victory of the season. The 13-0 affair was blown open with an 8-run 2nd inning, and Lancashire failed to score against the combination of Mitchell Vom Scheidt and Thomas Flaherty, who combined for the 5-inning, 2-hit shutout.

Game two reached just the sixth inning before the game was declared over. Sam Sproule continued a perfect day at the plate with a second 3-for-3 game. Brian Lainoff secured the victory after 2 innings of work while Jordan Edmonds and Drake Yoshioka pitched in 2 innings each of their own to finish off the Legends.
