London Mets Youth Baseball runs regular free Youth Taster Events at the Met's Finsbury Park baseball fields.  Timing will vary but the sessions will always be for boys and girls aged 6-12 years old.  We are likely to expand this into TRex sessions for 4-5yr old youngsters expressly for families with no prior knowledge of baseball.  In any case, no prior experience or equipment is required as we'll have extra baseball gloves and other items on hand.  Come out for just a look or for the whole session with a short lunch break.  Later in the afternoon, our youth players typically play a bit of sandlot ball where anything goes!

Our multilingual coaches will have loads of activities to try out and kids will be able to learn some new skills and the basics of baseball using soft safety balls.

No prior registration is needed - just show up and ask for a coach in a blue Met's polo shirt around the clubhouse.  The Mets youth teams will also be out training or playing games so you'll also see some real baseball being played.

The events are always subject to proper field and weather conditions but please do wear appropriate outdoor clothing and trainers or cleats.   Please check the website for any last minute changes.
