Adult Winter Training
The London Mets are delighted to announce and open registrations for our Winter Training. This event from February through March is designed to get rid of the off-season rust, and get ready for rostering in the 2025 Season.

This event is primarily targeted for existing London Mets members and Alumni of Friday Night Baseball (B4B). If you don't fit into these categories or have any questions, please get in touch with commissioner@londonmets.org
Details
This is the registration for the London Mets-organised Winter Training sessions.

For AA/A/Canal League/B4B Graduates

Defensive sessions will run on Sundays at the 108 in Brent Cross from 3:00pm-7:30pm. This will comprise of three separate 90-minute sessions running consecutively. You will be invited to participate in one of these 90-minute sessions based on your skill group. The groups will be decided and communicated to you by the event organisers prior to the first training session. Each 90-minute session is limited to 30 people per session, and you cannot transfer between sessions without permission from event organisers
Hitting sessions will run on Thursdays from 7pm-9pm at the 108, Brent Cross and will be divided into two 60 minute sessions. Each 60 minute session is limited to 24 people per session and you must participate in the time slot for which you have registered. Following feedback on the slow pace of the machines we have changed how we structure our hitting sessions. This year we have booked two hitting tunnels so that we can have our coaches/players throw batting practice and make more efficient use of the time.

For NBL/AAA participants information will be posted later in November 2024

FAQ & Disclaimer
What if it rains?
This Year's Winter training is indoors, however it can be a bit cold within the training dome. We advise wearing long joggers or baseball pants, and a thermal shirt or hoodie.

What should I bring?
We expect all players to bring their gloves to defensive training sessions. If you do not have one, please consider purchasing one. For batting practice, we will have club bats, however we also recommend using the bat you will be playing with during the season (if you have one).

How much does it cost?
This year we have divided our winter training programme into two separate options, defence & hitting. Unfortunately we cannot offer a mixture of both. If you cannot pay through PayPal, please contact Commissioner@LondonMets.org to discuss other options.

What if cannot attend a session?
We regrettably cannot offer refunds for missed sessions. If you sign-up and cannot attend Winter Training at all, please contact Commissioner@LondonMets.org to discuss potential arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

Please note: The Club reserves the right to decline placement in a session at its discretion.
