About the Event

The London Mets Spring Training Program is a five-week pre-season training block designed for players preparing to compete in the 2026 season.

This program is ideal for:

  • Players who wish to join a Mets team for the 2026 season

  • Returning players who want structured preparation before the season begins in mid-to-late April

  • New players joining the Mets this year with previous baseball experience

Participation is not mandatory for players who competed with the Mets last season, but it is strongly recommended for players joining from other clubs or returning after time away from the Mets.

Please note:

NBL and D2 squads will run separate training sessions and are not included in this program.

Players will be assigned to specific sessions based on their experience level. These sessions will run on Saturdays & Sundays from the 7th March through to the 5th April lasting two hours per session. Following purchase of your ticket you will be contacted informing you which group timeslot you will be training with following the rough guidelines below:

Saturday Sessions

  • 2025 B4B players

  • 2025 Canal League players

  • 2025 Mastodons players

Sunday Sessions

  • All other A & AA players from 2025 Mets teams

  • Any new player joining the Mets this year with prior playing experience

All sessions will take place at Finsbury Park and are dependent on the completion of our newly refurbished batting cages which are currently forecasted for completion on the 1st March. Please note that no metal cleats will be allowed in our batting cages. All equipment can be provided, but we strongly encourage all members to bring your own glove, batting gloves, cleats, trainers and warm clothing.

Rosters for the 2026 season will be circulated through Spond w/c 30/3.
