Jonathon Cramman, long time player of the London Mets has joined the coaching staff of minor league team St Lucie Mets in Port St Lucie, FL.
Cramman begun his baseball journey at Finsbury Park with the London Mets as a youth player after the formation of the club by his mother Tanya. Over the years, Jonathon helped secure multiple NBL titles as a player and later as manager. He went on to represent Great Britain as both a player and coach. He led the GB U23s during their first World Cup appearance in 2023 and European Championship in 2025, and served as hitting coach at the 2023 World Baseball Classic and bench coach during the national team’s European silver medal run. He now joins the Port St. Lucie Mets as Bench Coach and Assistant Hitting Coach, the Single-A affiliate of the New York Mets.
The St. Lucie Mets play in the Florida State League at Clover Park, which also serves as the New York Mets’ spring training home. A key development stop in the organization, the club has produced numerous major league players and continues to be central to the Mets’ pipeline.

Cramman will work under manager Luis Rivera, entering his second season at the helm, alongside a coaching staff focused on early-stage player development. For Cramman, the move offers both recognition and an opportunity to contribute in a full professional environment. A product of Finsbury Park’s development system, he is expected to bring the same leadership and commitment that defined his time in British baseball to his new role in Florida — further highlighting the sport’s growing international pathways.
