With the 2020 Season cancelled due to Covid-19, the London Mets wasted no chances to continue their dominance of British Baseball with a convincing defeat over the London Capitals in the 2020 BBF Open Tournament 9-1.

Rich Minford started on the bump for the mets going 7 strong innings, striking out 8. Brian Lainoff closed it out with two scoreless innings.

The London Mets offence bashed 15 hits and was led by Minford and Sam Sproule with four hits a piece.

Rookie Dylan Baxter made a key play in the 8th inning, throwing out Ian Deering at the plate with a laser of a throw from right field.
