Flaherty and Vom Scheidt Notch Sixth Wins as Mets Sweep Lancashire

Thomas Flaherty and Mitchell Vom Scheidt are now both 6-0 on the season. The two young standout starting pitchers for the Mets carried the day yet again over the Lancashire Legends. Flaherty was aided in game 1 by a 3 RBI day from Aiden Pearce and a 2-run triple from Rory Chandler. Drake Yoshioka added to his league-leading doubles total (12). Brian Lainoff closed out the game with 3 strong innings of 1-hit relief and 3 Ks.

Vom Scheidt's 7 Ks over 5 innings overpowered the Legends as the Mets rolled to a 6-inning mercy victory of 13-3. Brendan Power, Yoshioka, and Flaherty added 2 hits apiece in the game at Farnham Park.
