London Minotaurs (A)

The London Minotaurs was founded in 2020 by current captain Gabi Martens. The team was formed as an entrance point into competitive baseball for B4B graduates from the 2019 program entering the league alongside the Mustangs.

 

After a few successful campaigns with steady improvement The London Minotaurs will enter the 2023 as a development team, Bruno Fortes joined as coach and split the responsibilities with the Mustangs, becoming a fully dedicated to the development of new players, while the Mustangs will focus on winning the championship.

 

The Minotaurs will be the perfect place for players to get to the next level climbing the ladder to the Mustangs and AA.

Bruno Fortes

  • 2003 – 2016 playing and coaching in Brazil in A, AA and AAA equivalent.

  • 2016 – 2023 playing and coaching in London in FNB, A and AA with Mets.

  • 3 time state champion in Brazil (2013,2014, 2015), 3 times Brazilian amateur national championship player, with a 4th place playing Brazilian AA.

  • 2 day clinic with MLB Brazilian pitcher Andre Rienzo, AAA minor pitcher Murillo Golveia and Brazilian national team captain Jean Tome

  • 2 times a student in a 7 day clinic with the Brazilian national team coaching staff at the Brazilian national baseball facilities in Sao Paulo
