London Mets NBL/AAA Pre-Season

After an incredibly successful 2025 season, we are pleased to announce our pre-season schedule for 2026. As with every year, the club's expectations is to both excel on the field as well as set the standard off the field. Winter Training Events: Pitchers/Catchers: As a repeat of 2025, we will be meeting at the Highbury Fields Tennis Courts (5 minute walk from Islington Tube station) on Saturdays at 10am to begin pre-season throwing on the 22nd February & 1st March. This will be free to attend. Indoor Sessions: We have 4 indoor sessions booked at Walthamstow Academy from 8-9pm (144 Billet Rd, London E17 5DP) . These sessions will be primarily defence focused and another opportunity for players to prepare their arms. The first of these sessions will be on Wednesday the 4th March with the remaining 3 on the following Tuesdays (10th March, 17th March, 24th March). This will cost £40 to cover venue hire. Outside Sessions: We will be utilising the newly renovated batting cages at Finsbury Park from 10am-11:30am on Sundays 8th March, 15th March & 22nd March. This will also be an opportunity for pitchers to continue throwing and throw bullpens. This will be free to attend.

Florence pre-season games: For the second year in a row we will be travelling to Florence, Italy for pre-season games against Fiorentina Baseball over the weekend of the 28/29th March. As with last year we will be flying to Italy on Friday night and playing 4 games across the weekend with a combination of NBL/AAA squads returning on Sunday night. Please note: U18 players must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to participate. Please indicate that you wish to attend this trip by purchasing a "Florence" ticket on the event. We ask that you do this as early as possible to allow for efficient planning of the trip.
