2026 Youth Winter Training Mets

Our 2026 winter training is now open for registration! This event is open to all players aged 5-15 years old regardless of past experience.

We are returning to Haverstock school for every session this year.

Equipment

We will be able to provide a small number of gloves, but we highly recommend that players bring a glove with them.

For children aged 9-15 as half the session will take place outside, players will need warm clothing and a rain jacket.

If players have bats of their own, they are welcome to bring them as long as they comply with BBF regulations: (Bats must be either BBCOR or USA Baseball accredited). The club will be able to provide bats if players do not have their own.

We recommend that all players wear trainers rather than plastic cleats.

Coaching

This years winter training will see the club bringing in a number of highly skilled coaches from both inside our 9-in-a-row National Champions NBL team and the GB u-12 coaching staff.

Activity

We ask that all players arrive 15 minutes ahead of the start of their session and register at the desk prior to joining training.

8U: For players aged 8 and under, our T-ball sessions will take place in the sports hall from 12pm-1pm.

10U/12U/14U: For players aged 9 and older, training will run from 1pm-4pm on both AstroTurf outside and inside the sports hall with a mixture of both defence and hitting.
