LONDON METS BRONCO BASEBALL UP TO AGE 13

The London Mets continues to field its Bronco team, playing friendlies and BBF Bronco league games throughout the season and into the summer. Some of these games are played "on the road" at other clubs and organisations in the south east. The club ethos is inclusive and the Bronco team offers multiple opportunities to represent the club through the year.

Leading up to the National Youth Baseball Championships in September the Bronco team takes on more of the character of an All-Star" team with selection based on fair and open assessment of progress and effort through the season. 

Our Little League/Bronco programme is for boys and girls from 9 to 13. (* We may be able to accommodate 8 year olds. If your son or daughter is 8 please contact us at the email address below to discuss registration).

We play on a 60ft or 70ft diamond. Training and games take place at our field in Finsbury Park.

 

London Mets 13 and 14 year olds to play in the London Youth Baseball League in 2013 !

In 2013 13 and 14 year old London Mets players will have the chance to play in the London Youth Baseball League's Little League Juniors league. Click here for details and the schedule.

 The standard fee to play in our LL/Bronco programme for 2013 is £80. No special equipment is needed. The fee includes  baseball kit (team Little League shirt, club hat, and club warm up shirt), admission to all special clinics, school holiday baseball camps and eligibility for Bronco/ "All-Star" activities. Our Bronco travel baseball team is drawn from our Little League and plays teams from other clubs and leagues.

We try to keep our fees as low as possible and there is a reduced fee of for players whose parents or carers are unwaged. There is a £10 reduction from standard fees for a second sibling. No player is turned away for financial reasons. 

Club training is free but we do ask that all youth player’s details are registered for insurance and health and safety purposes.

Bronco Academy Training

Bronco Academy training will continue for the 9 - 13 age group on Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at our field in Finsbury Park.  Training sessions are FREE and are offered starting in March, and throughthe season into September.  You can come and try out the game, no equipment is needed we will provide it all.

The academy continually recruits new players and seeks to place them onto teams, even mid-season, on a rolling basis. and according to talent.  The Little League will offer a ready outlet for new players to have fun and apply what they have learned at the Academy sessions.  The club also offers specialised training sessions on a regular basis.
